Currently I (Johanus) am still working on this site, but it's getting there!

See the picture of me and the kids above! I'm Johanus, the head of the family, and my kids are Daveed and Ariana. Yes, I'm a single parent.

Right now you can contact me through the "Writing" page - there's a sub-page to contact me. I'm experimenting with the menus on this thing.

Briefly, this site is for my family in all it's aspects, including all my my professional and business endeavours, to keep people up-to date with us, and to help family, friends, and clients learn about who I am and who my family is!

This is the logo for The Academyof European Swordsmanship, the martial arts school that I run. I teach weapons fighting (all kinds of swords - European, of course, pole arms, knife fighting, staff weapons training, and more), as well as unarmed, self defense. It's one of my favourite things to do, and you'll find me there every Tuesday evening! And it helps keep me in shape. I also teach my students fitness as part of the overall martial arts. For me this is the best way to take care of one's fitness in health (that and eating right).
